There are many Durham festivals scheduled throughout the year, and one of our favorites is definitely CenterFest. This year will mark the 39th year that this fun and fabulous arts festival has made its way into town, and you won’t want to miss out on the fun as it takes to the streets this year.

The festival will take place in downtown on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22. As always, it will feature a combination of art that will fill your soul. There will be potters and crafters, painters and drafters whose pieces will be on display for you to enjoy. There will also be plenty of musicians, dancers and musical groups who will be filling the streets and stages with their unique blends of music and dance.

For the kids, there will be puppet shows, craft projects and games to enjoy. If you get in line early enough, they can even get their face painted with a matching temporary tattoo.

Are you planning to attend some of the upcoming Durham festivals on the city’s events calendar? If you are, be sure to get on Facebook and invite your neighbors at Trinity Commons to join in the fun with you.
