Full Frame Documentary Film Festival

This four-day festival brings in around 100 documentary films from around the world, including several US premiers and Academy Award contenders. Full Frame is scheduled for April 6 through April 9 and will be held at the Carolina Theatre, Durham Convention Center and Durham Arts Council buildings.

Art of Cool Jazz Festival

This three-day jazz festival will bring in 20 performers including both local and up-and-coming artists from other places. Art of Cool is scheduled for April 28 through April 30. Events will take place at several locations throughout Downtown Durham, including the Carolina Theatre, Durham Armory, Motorco Music Hall and Museum of Durham History.
